While it's still April...

We are, apparently, on a crash-course with summer--careening, speeding at a break-neck pace...but isn't it this way every year? I know everyone's calendars are filling in/up even as I type, so let's try to get our Fridays clear enough for a few more Rogues before the '08-09 is up.

Any conflicts this week? I am going on an overnight camping trip Thursday, but I will be back by about 2:00p Friday. Let's ALL look at the rest of our Fridays and try to predict our availabilities for these last 4ish/5ish weeks of school.

But for this week, let's say 4:00p Friday @ Zink if good weather, CHOCS if rain.

Thursday Rogue?

In order to accommodate everyone this week (if that's possible) should we try to have our meeting/reading on Thursday?

I fully understand that job schedules/prior commitments may not allow for this, but I'm otherwise compelled to cancel this week, too (due to a particular choir trip...).

No Rogue this week--what?!

Yeahhhh...about that: I guess we will have to cancel Rogue for this Friday, 4/10. To begin, it's Good Friday and there's no school, thus making it a little more difficult to plan a time that's good for all. Then there's the fact that Joe and Katie informed me that both of them will be unable to attend due to other, prearranged plans.

So I am giving you all lots of heads-up this time (which is undeniably rare) that our meeting for this week is just, plain canceled.

Looking ahead to the following Friday, 4/17, let's try to think of some place new to meet--so that maybe everyone will be excited about meeting and really work to make it happen. Pedestrian Bridge? Suggestions?

April Foolin'

Greetings, All.

It's April Fool's Day, but I ain't kiddin': We need to have a meeting this week! Friday is the day...can, say--1:00 be the time? Or 2:00? I get out of meetings at 12:30p.

I hope you're all happy and healthy--and writing!

I love the idea of a park meeting, so if the weather allows, let's definitely do Zink. Otherwise, CHOCS.
