My request:

For those of you who were able to go to Jessie's family's cabin, please write an anecdote about your time there. Muse on what you thought was most entertaining or breathtaking. It doesn't have to be in poem form. I would like to collect these--whether handwritten or typed--at our next meeting so I can get them in the mail to Jessie's parents. Jessie--you, too. Sending a rumination on the weekend would be an apt thank you, I think.

Games and Stuff!

Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will meet at SoB at 3 p.m. Bring board games and card games and count on getting the table room.

I may or may not be there. Someone needs to call the Rogues who haven't commented on this post yet.

Games, Poetry, Etc.

It has been suggested that we have a gaming sort of meeting on Tuesday at 5 o'clock. Others have suggested a Tuesday SoB.

Post your ideas about a Tuesday meeting. If we want to play board games, we may need a meeting place that is extra-SoB, on account of the lack of space and restriction of volume. Someone's house might be available? Or we could meet at Woodward and plan on bringing picnic blankets and assorted games.

We also need to know what times work for everyone. Or at least three or four of us.
Easter is out of town as of tomorrow morning, at some "ungodly" hour.

I'll post again tomorrow with a plan, if any thought becomes more than nebulous.

OK. I need to make this post so we can help Jessie's mom out as much as possible since she and her husband are making their lake cabin available for a VERY SUPERVISED roguevent.

First off, who can come? It's the last weekend in July--either Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday. Ask your parents and post confidently as soon as possible. There will be a permission slip/release form and, as I've mentioned, plenty of adult supervision. Things that will not be tolerated include but are not limited to (1) any use of drugs or alcohol or (2) any use of genitalia for procreative or pseudo-procreative activities.

While I'm traipsing through the desert, someone will need to moderate this website. I think I will hand over the password to Jessie because she reads the site more dutifully than the rest of you slugs. Jessie: Email me at junkluvr@yahoo.com and I'll give you the password.

It's been requested that we have a Tuesday SoB, and that request received positive response(s), so I think we should plan it. What? PLAN? Us? And have follow-through? With more than a couple hours' preparation? Amazing. There's a chance of rain today through Tuesday, so maybe we'll luck out there, too.

I need to get to writing. All of my creative energy has gone into construction lately. But I finished building my screened in porch and can move on to deconstructing my dining room decor and...writing. Yes, writing...I've got things to say. I'm sure of it.
